Frequently Asked Questions

Our treks are labelled Easy, Moderate, or Difficult. Easy treks like Gokarna Coastal or Kaiwara require just basic fitness — regular walking for 2–3 weeks is enough. Moderate treks like Kodachadri need cardio 3–4 times a week for a month. Difficult treks like Kumara Parvatha need 2+ months of dedicated training including hill walks and stair climbs.
Yes — leeches are common on most Western Ghats treks from June to September, especially on Kudremukha and Kodachadri. Wear full-length socks, tuck them in, and use leech socks if available. Don't panic — they're harmless and easy to remove. Monsoon treks are our most scenic (waterfalls, mist, lush green) and also the most adventurous. We'll brief you on trail conditions before departure.
All our treks depart from Bengaluru. We assemble at a fixed meeting point in the city (Majestic or Silk Board area, depending on the trek) and travel together as a group. Pick-up location and time are shared with all confirmed bookings at least 48 hours in advance.
Yes, forest entry permits and range fees for treks inside national parks (like Kudremukha National Park, Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary) are fully handled by us and included in the trek cost. You don't need to arrange anything — just show up.
Click "Book Now" on any trek card, fill your details, and pay via UPI (PhonePe/GPay/any UPI app). Once payment is done, enter your UTR (transaction ID) and confirm via WhatsApp. Our team verifies and sends confirmation within 15–30 minutes (during daytime).
Keep it light — you'll be staying at a homestay, not carrying camping gear. Bring: comfortable trekking shoes or sports shoes, track pants or shorts, a raincoat or umbrella (essential in the Western Ghats), a small daypack for water and packed lunch, a power bank, a few plastic bags for wet clothes on the way back, and personal toiletries. A detailed packing list is shared on WhatsApp after booking confirmation.
If a trek is cancelled for any reason — weather, not enough bookings, or any unforeseen situation — you will receive a full refund OR we will transfer your booking to the next available batch of the same trek, whichever you prefer. We'll inform you at least 48 hours in advance if a cancellation is likely. Your money is completely safe with us.
